1.dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a noninvasive, painless procedure which exfoliates, smooths and softens skin with immediate results. Yay!
Dermaplaning also removes fine vellus hairs (think peach fuzz!) which trap oil and dirt, allowing facial products and treatments to penetrate the skin easily.
treatment
After cleansing your face, surface dirt, oil and dead skin cells (excluding the nose and neck) are gently scraped away with a sterile surgical scalpel. Don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds.
After the procedure, a topical serum is applied locking in moisture and providing UV protection.
Results are fresh, soothed skin ready for makeup (in fact, your makeup will glide on now. You're welcome!).
2.MICRONEEDLING
Triggering the body’s natural collagen production, Microneedling restores thickness and elasticity to ageing and sun damaged skin.
It is also effective at fading scars, (e.g. acne and chicken pox), diminishing stretch marks, reducing pigmentation, improving skin tone and tightening open pores.
It's basically a skin superhero.
treatment
Using a hand-held electronic pen with needles on the end (OK, I know that sounds scary, but bear with me) I carefully penetrate the skin epidermis, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin and enhancing the absorption of skin care products.
Treatment is mildly uncomfortable, and within an hour or two of treatment you will look red, resembling moderate sunburn. The skin will feel warm and a bit tight. Expect slight redness the following day.
It'll be worth it, trust me!
3.chemical peel
Chemical Peel is a solution that removes dead skin cells on the face promoting growth of new healthy skin, improving hyperpigmentation, fine lines, uneven texture and skin impurities.
Speeding up your natural skin’s healing process by stimulating collagen production and improving elastin fibres giving your skin it’s youthful form and shape.
treatment
Whilst there are some benefits after one peel, for best results regular treatments are most beneficial.
After cleansing the Chemical Peel is applied using a gentle brush. The peel is left on the skin for a few minutes, you may experience a mild tingling or burning sensation. Don't worry, I'll distract you!
After the peel a cool compress/mask is applied to your face. Followed by a moisturiser and sun screen (safety first!).
4.mesotherapy
Touted as the latest breakthrough for skin rejuvenation, Mesotherapy is effective for tired, dull, dehydrated sun damaged skin that lacks volume.
Stimulating the mesoderm (middle skin layer) Mesotherapy consists of non-invasive micro-injections that deliver a cocktail of nutrients into the skin healing, stimulating and repleting damaged skin by infusing it with vitamins and
active ingredients.
treatment
Each session lasts approximately 40 minutes and discomfort is mild.
The number of sessions required depends on the area to be treated, but normally takes between 4 and 10 sessions to notice the desired effects.
5.LED Light
Used by NASA (fancy!), LED Light Therapy is a calming treatment using the healing power of light, working the deep layers of the skin to inhibit bacteria formation, stimulate collagen production, combat hyper pigmentation and reduce inflammation.
Long lasting results successfully treating acne and inflammation. Visibly decreasing blemishes, coarse skin, dull complexions, enlarged pores, age spots, rosacea and skin laxity.
treatment
A 10 minute heat free, non-invasive treatment, with no downtime.
You will notice visible improvements after one treatment, however a course of treatments will show more dramatic results. The condition’s severity and your skin type will determine how long results take.
