Polynucleotides
SKIN REJUVENATION & COLLAGEN PRODUCTION... YASSSSSSSS
POLYNUCLEOTIDES WORK ON THE QUALITY OF YOUR SKIN, TRIGGERING NEW COLLAGEN AND ELASTIN
why?
Polynucleotides help damaged skin cells repair and function better with an anti-free radical action.
They stimulate fibroblast cells to produce new collagen and elastin, which give skin a plump glow!
They improve hydration and reduce inflammation... perfect!
WHAT CAN THEY TREAT?
Polynucleotides are versatile and can be used to:
- Rejuvenate skin by improving tone and texture
- Reduce the appearance of superficial fine lines and wrinkles
- Increase skin hydration
- Help to improve rosacea due to it's anti-inflammatory properties
- Help repair scarred and damaged tissue, even in lips
SOUNDS RIGHT FOR YOU?
consultation
A consultation to discuss your skin type, skin problems and expectations is required before a treatment can be performed. As polynucleotides are not a POM (prescription-only medication) the treatment can be carried out immediately after the consultation, if that is what you wish (as long as everything is OK on your medical history).
treatment
Skin preparation:
The skin is cleaned and numbed prior to injection.
Injection:
Multiple tiny injections are placed precisely under the skin in the treated areas.
Follow up:
You will need to book your next appointment before you leave.
results
You will need a course of 3 treatments, spaced 1 month apart, with 1 maintenance treatment every 3-6 months following on from that.
Since polynucleotides work at a cellular level, it takes time for the full benefits to appear.
You will start noticing improvements such as better skin texture and hydration within a few weeks of your third treatment.
12 weeks post treatment, most clients see a significant improvement with smoother and brighter skin.
It's a slow burner, but totally worth it!
